This brief tutorial shows you how to use your macros.
These make note and consult writing more efficient.
Simply press “ALT” and right click in the text field of a note or consult and select the macro of your choice.
Note: If you are using a Mac, hold down the “Option” button on your keyboard while right clicking instead of “ALT”.
Alternatively, if you have set up a keyboard shortcut, just type “;” and the shortcut with no spaces in between them and the macro will insert.
These reduce clicks to handle labs and tasks.
General Task Macros
These are available on all tasks except imported files.
Simply select the desired task macro from the dropdown box and the settings you setup for the task macro will automatically apply to the task.
Imported File Macros
After you have assigned an imported file to a patient and clicked Claim + Sort, you will be able to select a task macro to apply to the file.
All settings you chose when creating the task macro will automatically be applied to the file.
